This site is a reflection of the adventures that my wife and I have taken since our youngest son left the nest. We have replaced parenting with touring America on motorcycle and now we are embarking on a new hobby by learning to sail.
Before we set out on these adventures we spent three years building our house. We built it as a energy efficient, tornado resistant house and we did it inexpensively. We have provided a page on this site to show you how we did it.
